How to Make Chocolate Christmas Mice
When I was in Elementary School, I always begged my mom to make chocolate Christmas mice for my school Christmas party.
All of my friends thought they were so cool, and I thought I was an artist while I was making them. If we were really being festive, we would put them in a container and set them up to look like real Christmas mice.
Seriously though, look how cute they are. I hope you enjoy this recipe for Blogmas Day 12!
Ingredients
12 Maraschino cherries with stems
1/2 cup chocolate bark
12 Hershey kisses
24 almond slices
1/8 cup white chocolate bark (for the eyes)
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Melt chocolate bark in a bowl according to instructions on the package
3. Dip each cherry into the melted chocolate and then lay onto the paper.
4. Take a chocolate kiss and place it (flat side, opposite end of the stem) of the chocolate cherry
5. Place 2 almond slices between the cherry and the kiss to create ears
6. Place in refrigerator for 5 minutes.
7. Melt white chocolate in microwave according to instruction on package
8. Take a toothpick and draw eyes on the mice with the chocolate
And then you have a super cute snack that was super easy to make!
