How to transform a dollar store skull into a Halloween vase

I love the dollar store. For starters, I honestly believe that you can find some amazing stuff there, and you can find items that are perfect for a DIY.

The first thing I found was this plain looking skull. It’s very boring and simple, and unless you are doing a traditional Halloween decor scheme, it doesn’t really fit.

I bought a can of spray paint, a styrofoam ball and some dollar store flowers, and I made a skull vase.

This vase looks great on the mantel, bookshelf or even outside!

YOU WILL NEED

Plastic skull

Razor knife

Black spray paint

Styrofoam ball

Flowers

INSTRUCTIONS

The first thing you need to do it spray pain the skull black. You will need to let it dry before cutting the skull open.

Using the razor knife, cut an opening in the back of the skull big enough to put the styrofoam in. You might scrape up the paint, but you can just touch it up later.

Once everything is good and dry, add the styrofoam and arrange the flowers.
