My March favorites, despite the pandemic
This month started off very innocent and ended in a new reality. Despite everything, I still found things to make the month a little sweeter. These are my March favorites.
I started this month looking forward to my first real-time off since September of last year. During this time, I was going to watch so many fils at SXSW, see my brother graduate from the Navy in Chicago and finally get a break from the real world for a second.
Of course, none of that happened. In fact, I am back to working more than I ever have before. Everything has changed.
Despite this mess, I still have found little things that brought me joy. I stopped doing favorites a long time ago because I could never tell if you all really liked reading them, but I figured we all need a distraction.

Eyebrow Tint
I have been wanting to get my eyebrows tinted, but I honestly didn’t want to fork up the cash. I know it’s not a very expensive beauty expense, but it adds up over time.
I found this eyebrow tint on TikTok, and I had to give it a go. I was not disappointed. I will be doing a tutorial soon.
Loving Tan
After years of self-tanning, I finally got the self-tan everyone talks about. Yes, it is just as great as everyone says. I still really want to try tanning water, too.
Dark Chocolate
I was doing a sponsorship with a new meal plan coming out, and although it was postponed, I decided to go ahead with it as much as I could throughout this pandemic.
Now, I get to eat this dark chocolate from Aldi every day. I love this chocolate for a few reasons. One is because it’s delicious; two because it’s cheap; and three because it comes separate in perfect portions!
Fireplace Mantel
My sister and I went to a few estate sales earlier this month, and I was able to buy some items to redo my fireplace mantel.
I absolutely love the result, and the vintage details are exactly what it needed.
Meditation
Earlier this year, I transformed my office to include a little bit of a meditation area. I love this space.
It is a great place to really focus on myself and get out of my head.
Mom jeans
Okay, I don’t know if I really love my body type in mom jeans yet – BUT I DO LOVE THEM ANYWAYS.
I have bought so many mom jeans it is silly!
New camera
This is clearly my at the top of my March Favorites list. I did a thing this month – I finally upgraded my camera game. I hope you guys can see it as I continue to make content.

Electric Kettle
This one is weird to include in my March Favorites, only because I have had it for a while. I got this bad boy two Christmases ago, but it has been my saving grace while working from home. My coffee and tea routine is so much easier!
Amika purple shampoo
My dogs need to go to the groomers. I need to go to the salon. However, we are doing our part in social distancing.
So it looks like I am going to just sit around here for a while with brassy hair, and this purple shampoo has been saving me!
The Nickel Boys
I have been reading this book this month, and it is such an easy read. During this time of self-isolation, I plan on finally reading some other things I have been neglecting in my personal library.
