If you have your own small business, this is even better because it will help you navigate your online presence to help your business. I see so many local businesses in my community not using social media – even though I know they are great!

But, no one else has any idea they exist unless they are from here because they don’t have an online presence.

One of the biggest takeaways I took from the book was that just because you aren’t making sales or getting clicks doesn’t mean you aren’t making a good product.

It just means no one knows about it.

The book points out that most entrepreneurs mostly struggle with getting future customers to discover they even exist. And the book’s main purpose is to teach you the art and science of getting customers to find you.

THE AUTHOR

The book’s author, Russell Brunson, is the CEO of the $100 million software company, ClickFunnels.

He has built a following of over a million entrepreneurs, sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his books and popularized the concept of sales funnels.

Sales funnels can be used in almost any business. The concept is bringing awareness to your product, and then funneling your consumer to the point of purchase.

The book also gave me insights on my customers. Because I am a blogger, I don’t really think about my customers very often. I definitely don’t think about who my “dream customer” is.

My “dream customer” for the longest time was anyone who could find me.

But after reading this book, I have a better idea of what kind of content I want to create to attract my dream customer. And if I have a stronger connection with my customers, I am able to get more loyalty – which means more clicks and more engagement.

If you are struggling on growing your business or getting started, this book is really a great place to start.

It really changed my perspective and open my brain to a new way of thinking.
