Review of the ILIFE V3s robot vacuum
When I moved into my new apartment, I knew it was time to invest in a robot vacuum. With both of my dogs in a tiny space, I knew I would not be able to sweep enough to be satisfied with cleanliness.
Seriously, these two Australian shepherds shed enough to make a fur blanket every day.
In the beginning of robot vacuums, Roomba was the only vacuum worth getting. Fortunately now, there are a lot more options – some more affordable than others.
I started to research heavily on Amazon, and I decided to go with the ILIFE V3s.
During my search, I was looking for three things:
- The ability to set a schedule
- Longevity of the device
- Master pet hair collector
Pet Hair
When I discovered the ILIFE V3s, it focused on picking up hair. With a tangle-free pet hair care technology, focuses on picking up hairs, dirt, debris on hard floors
So far, it picks up a ton of pet hair after every use. It is a little annoying to have to empty out the bin after every go around, but I imagine you have to do this with most robot vacuums.
I also feel like this constant maintenance helps extend the life of the vacuum.
Other functions
The vacuum comes with a remote that lets you set a schedule and remotely make your robot return to the dock. This is extremely helpful for me because I can make my robot, Steve, clean the house while I am at work.
My dogs don’t necessarily love the vacuum, but they definitely don’t attack it.
The vacuum itself is loud enough to be slightly annoying, but not loud enough to interrupt your day to day activities.
The brushes are also easily replaceable, which I feel like help extend the life of the device. I might end up being wrong in the long run, but so far, so good.
