THROWBACK: Shows to watch during winter break!

YOU’RE ON WINTER BREAK. YOU’VE BINGED WATCHED JESSICA JONES, MASTER OF NONE AND SENSE8. WHAT ELSE COULD YOU WATCH?

Well, here is a list of throwback tv shows that have completed their course. Actually, it might be good to refresh on some of these since they are getting a reboot!

Gilmore Girls: Netflix is reprising this one for one season, or really four 90 minute episode throughout a calendar year. So if you were a Gilmore Fan or want to know what the fuss is about, now is the time to watch! Also, you will be surprised on how many references are still prevalent today (Hilary Clinton being president? Ebola?).

X-Files: This was a cult classic and is also having a revival. Fox is bringing back a limited season with some of the same characters. When this show was on air, it was a phenomenon! Be sure to check this out if you enjoy being creeped out!

Freaks and Geeks: If you are looking for something shorter to commit to, this is for you. Its a great way to see where some of your favorite actors got their start, and it is just a classic, even if it was cut too short.

Weeds: This isn’t as old as the others, but I watched all 8 seasons in a weekend because its amazing (besides that one season). Also, Hunter Parrish is such eye candy (when he gets older). This one has no word of a reunion, but the cast of Finding Nemo might be hidden in there!

Charmed: I can remember my mom watching this in the morning with me before she went to work during the summer. I can remember crying when ___ died, and then hating her replacement, then loving her replacement. A great show to feel some lady power!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: If you have never seen an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, stop reading this, go to Netflix and watch now. This was a necessity for every teenage girl in the 90s. It’s a great re-watch!
