Why paper snowflakes aren’t just for kids

When I was a kid, if it was Christmastime, and you gave me even a scrap of paper, it became a snowflake. The day someone taught me about paper snowflakes, I became a snowflake making queen.

Then I became an adult, and I quit making snowflakes. I guess I didn’t think they were pretty anymore. Honestly, I don’t know the day I quit making snowflakes.

Now, I am looking at my home and trying to make it festive on a dime. Nothing about my décor is traditional, and I am sitting at my kitchen table watching the dew drip on my window sill.

And then it I decided I wanted to hang snowflakes. I wanted to hang them by my window, and I wanted them to be matte black.

I feel like I should see this more often. Paper snowflakes can be so pretty!
