The best places to go to brunch in Waco (updated 2019)

When I first started writing about my life in Waco, the brunch scene was nothing. I wrote a blog post about the few places in Waco that offered brunch, and it was super popular because people were desperate for some eggs benedict.

But to be fair, trying to find a decent mimosa in this town was not easy. Now, two years later, we have so many great brunch options! Thanks to the draw of Magnolia, downtown is growing every day with new trendy options for the locals to enjoy all year long.

Whether you are visiting Magnolia, going to school to Baylor or making the move to Waco, these are some places you must try for brunch!

The Olive Branch

The Olive Branch has a great drink selection, but they have even better hot lattes. Be sure to check out the power bowl or their stuffed french toast!

Milo All Day

Milo All Day is so cute that you have to take a photo for Instagram when you go. The Georgia Benedict is my favorite, but I also have a soft spot for The Wrecking Ball.

The Hippodrome (The Raleigh)

The Hippodrome has been one of my favorite places in Waco since the very beginning, and it has solidified its place in my heart with its recent additions (the hightop bar and the raleigh). I am a huge fan of the Three Amigos here!

Butter My Biscuit

Hands down if you love biscuits, come here. The atmosphere is great, and the owner, Lee, is one of the sweetest people I have ever met.

Hecho En Waco

Hecho En Waco is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town, and their brunch is no joke!

Cricket’s

Cricket’s is honestly good for anything. It is a large space for big gatherings, and they have a pretty good dinner menu. Their brunch addition is simple, but the drinks are great!

Barnett’s

Barnett’s is the first place I had ever had brunch in Waco, so it will always hold a special place in my heart!

Clay Pot

Okay, so I have never actually had brunch here, but it looks so cool! They came out with brunch the weekend I started OMAD, so I haven’t been able to try it!

Basically, brunch is alive and thriving in Waco. If you know a spot that is great that I missed, drop it in the comment section.
